Wir bereiten uns auf den Start des WordCamp Germany 2023 vor und k\u00f6nnen es kaum erwarten, die Mitglieder der WordPress-Community wieder in Gerolstein, Deutschland, zu sehen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Informationen zum Veranstaltungsort<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Das WordCamp Deutschland 2023 findet vom 19. Oktober bis 21. Oktober 2023<\/strong> in der Stadthalle Rondell in Gerolstein \/ Vulkaneifel statt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parken und \u00d6PNV<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Von der Brunnenstra\u00dfe (B410) aus befinden sich fu\u00dfl\u00e4ufig mehrere Parkpl\u00e4tze. Die meisten Parkpl\u00e4tze sind kostenpflichtig. Die Geb\u00fchren sind an den Parkscheinautomaten ausgewiesen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Busbahnhof (ZOB) befindet sich in der direkten N\u00e4he zur Stadthalle. Der Bahnhof in Gerolstein liegt schr\u00e4g gegen\u00fcber auf der anderen Stra\u00dfenseite und \u00fcber den Flu\u00df Kyll. Der Bahnhof ist ebenfalls barrierefrei zu erreichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mitfahrgelegenheiten und Fahrgemeinschaften vor Ort<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Gerolstein ist ein beschauliches St\u00e4dtchen mit einer recht gut funktionierenden Infrastruktur f\u00fcr Rad und PKW, dennoch ist der \u00d6PNV nicht ideal innerhalb der Stadt oder dem Umland ausgebaut. Da nicht jede:r eine Unterkunft im Ort hat oder per PKW anreist, bietet sich eine Mitfahrgelegenheit an, um zum Veranstaltungsort hin und zur Unterkunft wieder zur\u00fcckzukommen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anmeldung und Check-in f\u00fcr die Veranstaltung<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wenn du am Contributor Day teilnimmst, kannst du bei deiner Ankunft am Veranstaltungsort einchecken. Unser Team wird dir dabei behilflich sein – bitte halte deine Ticketdaten bereit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Falls du dich noch nicht zum Contributor Day angemeldet hast, nutze bitte das bereitgestellte Formular<\/a>. Wir ben\u00f6tigen eine separate Anmeldung<\/strong>, um die Anzahl der Teilnehmenden entsprechend mit dem Catering abzustimmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WordCamp Teilnehmende, die sich nicht f\u00fcr den Contributor Day angemeldet haben, k\u00f6nnen sich am Freitag, dem 20. Oktober, ab 08:30 Uhr und am Samstag, dem 21. Oktober, ab 08:30 Uhr registrieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Contributor Day findet am Donnerstag, dem 19. Oktober 2023 statt und unsere tollen Freiwilligen werden dich zu den R\u00e4umen f\u00fchren, die wir f\u00fcr diese Veranstaltung nutzen, wenn du am Veranstaltungsort ankommst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sei p\u00fcnktlich und bringe deinen Computer (und ein Ladeger\u00e4t) mit. Die Registrierung f\u00fcr Teilnehmende am Contributor Day beginnt um 08:30 Uhr und der Tag beginnt um 09:30 Uhr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Men\u00fcs f\u00fcr Speisen und Getr\u00e4nke<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Du kannst die Speisepl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr das Mittagsbuffet auf unserer Website einsehen<\/a>, um im Voraus zu sehen, welche Verpflegungsoptionen verf\u00fcgbar sind. Die Catering-Einrichtungen befinden sich im Foyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auf den Buffettischen sind die Allergene der einzelnen Speisen angegeben – bei Fragen wende dich bitte an ein Mitglied des Catering-Teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au\u00dferdem gibt es mehrere Wasserspender. Wir empfehlen dir, deine wiederverwendbare Lieblingsflasche mitzubringen, um unsere Bem\u00fchungen um Nachhaltigkeit zu unterst\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Verhaltenskodex<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Das Orga-Team des WordCamp Germany 2023 ist der Meinung, dass unsere Gemeinschaft wirklich f\u00fcr alle offen sein sollte. Daher verpflichten wir uns, eine freundliche, sichere und einladende Umgebung f\u00fcr alle zu schaffen, unabh\u00e4ngig von Geschlecht, sexueller Orientierung, Behinderung, ethnischer Zugeh\u00f6rigkeit, Religion, Alter, Kaste, sozialer Schicht, bevorzugtem Betriebssystem, Programmiersprache oder Texteditor und anderen Merkmalen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re gearing up for the start of WordCamp Germany 2023 and can’t wait to see members of the WordPress community back in Gerolstein, Germany!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information about the venue<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

WordCamp Germany 2023 will take place from October 19 to October 21, 2023 at the Stadthalle Rondell in Gerolstein \/ Vulkaneifel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Address<\/strong>: Stadthalle Rondell – Rondell 1, 54568 Gerolstein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Address for the navi<\/strong>: Parking Brunnenstra\u00dfe \/ Rondell 10, 54568 Gerolstein (otherwise the navi will guide you through the pedestrian zone to the upper entrance of the building).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parking and public transport<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are several parking lots within walking distance from Brunnenstra\u00dfe (B410). There is a fee for most of the parking spaces. The fees are shown on the parking ticket machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bus station (ZOB) is located in the direct vicinity of the Stadthalle. The train station in Gerolstein is diagonally across the street and across the Kyll River. The station can also be reached barrier-free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carpooling on site<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Gerolstein is a tranquil little town with a fairly well-functioning infrastructure for bicycles and cars, yet public transport is not ideally developed within the town or the surrounding area. Since not everyone has an accommodation in the town or arrives by car, a carpool offers itself to get to the venue and back to the accommodation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event Registration and Check-in<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are attending on Contributor Day, you\u2019ll be able to check-in on arrival at the venue. Our team will be available to assist you \u2013 please ensure you have your ticket details to hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For attendees who have not registered for Contributor Day, registration will open at 08:30 on Friday 20 October and 08:30 on Saturday 21 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be on time and bring your computer (and a charger). Participant registration for Contributor Day will begin at 08:30 and the day will start at 09:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food and Beverage Menus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can view the lunch buffet menus on our <\/a>website<\/a> to see in advance which catering options are available. Catering facilities are located at the foyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tables at the buffet will display specific allergens in each item \u2013 please ask a member of the catering team if you have any queries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Water stations are also located around the venue. We\u2019d recommend bringing your favorite reusable bottle to help with our sustainability plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WordCamp Germany 2023 believes our community should be truly open to everyone.
