English version below<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das WordCamp Deutschland findet dieses Jahr in einer Kleinstadt statt. Wir freuen uns, dass du dich auf den Weg machst. Vorab m\u00f6chten wir noch ein paar Informationen mit dir teilen, die f\u00fcr deinen Aufenthalt in Gerolstein und Umgebung n\u00fctzlich sein k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gerolstein ist ein beschauliches St\u00e4dtchen mit ca. 8.000 Einwohnern. Also definitiv keine Gro\u00dfstadt. Dennoch ist f\u00fcr die Dinge des t\u00e4glichen Lebens das meiste vorhanden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00d6ffentlicher Nahverkehr innerorts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gerolstein ist zwar an das Schienennetz der Deutschen Bahn angeschlossen, aber innerhalb des Ortes gibt es keine S-Bahn oder Busverbindungen, die euch durch den Ort bringen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plane also ein, dass du dir gegebenenfalls ein Taxi rufen musst, um von der Unterkunft zum Veranstaltungsort zu kommen und abends wieder zur\u00fcck.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Taxi Unternehmen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In Gerolstein sind drei kleine Taxi-Unternehmen ans\u00e4ssig. Plane m\u00f6gliche Wartezeiten bitte ein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Restaurants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Umfeld der Stadthalle Rondell gibt es einige Restaurants, die fu\u00dfl\u00e4ufig erreichbar sind. Beachte bitte: Gerolstein ist ein beliebter Ferienort und derzeit sind Ferien in Rheinland-Pfalz sowie im Nachbarland Niederlande. We are happy that you are on your way. First of all, we would like to share some information with you that may be useful for your stay in Gerolstein and the surrounding area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gerolstein is a tranquil little town with about 8,000 inhabitants. So it&#8217;s definitely not a big city. Nevertheless, most of the necessities of daily life are available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Local public transport in the town<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gerolstein is connected to the Deutsche Bahn rail network, but there are no S-Bahn or bus connections within the town to take you around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So plan on calling a taxi if necessary to get from your accommodation to the venue and back again in the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Taxi companies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are three small taxi companies in Gerolstein. Please allow for possible waiting times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Restaurants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several restaurants within walking distance of the Stadthalle Rondell. Please note: Gerolstein is a popular holiday resort and there are currently holidays in Rhineland-Palatinate and in the neighbouring country of the Netherlands.
