You’re probably wondering why WordCamp Germany is taking place in Gerolstein, of all places, a small town in the Volcanic Eifel, aren’t you? Well, the answer is actually quite simple: why not?

After a long period of online meetings and virtual conferences, we all long for something real, for community and for nature. And yes, WordCamp could take place in one of the usual big cities, but let’s face it, haven’t we all had enough of skyscrapers and hectic city life?

Gerolstein offers us the opportunity to not only let our minds wander, but also our eyes. Nestled in the beautiful nature of the Volcanic Eifel, we can network, learn and have fun together in a relaxed atmosphere.

Yes, we know that the journey might be a bit of an adventure for some of you. Especially for those of you who want to travel from the Northwest. But hey, who said adventures are bad? And we promise we’ll do everything in our power to help you get there.
