Wir organisieren zwei „Office Hours“ für alle, die mehr darüber erfahren möchten, wie man sich als Speaker:in beim WordCamp Germany bewirbt und wir würden uns freuen, wenn auch du dabei bist.

Termine

Du kannst zwischen zwei möglichen Terminen für Office Hours wählen:

• Dienstag 25. Jul. 2023 um 19:00 Uhr (CET)
• Mittwoch 2. Aug. 2023 um 10:00 Uhr (CET)

Kostenlos & für Alle

Wir bieten diese Office-Hours an, um mehr neue Leute zu ermutigen, sich als Speaker:in zu bewerben. Wir wollen ein vielfältiges WordCamp schaffen und dazu beitragen, dass neue Stimmen auf die Bühne kommen, um ihre Meinungen, ihr Wissen und ihre Erfahrungen zu teilen.

Die Office Hours sind zu 100% kostenlos, und jede:r kann daran teilnehmen.

Du musst kein Ticket für das WordCamp haben, um mitzumachen, du musst dich nicht verpflichten, dich als Speaker:in zu bewerben, du musst dich nicht als Speaker:in beworben haben und du musst kein:e Speaker:in gewesen sein. Jede:r ist eingeladen mitzumachen.

Für wen sind die Office Hours gedacht?

Wenn einer der folgenden Punkte auf dich zutrifft, dann sind die Office Hours für dich:

• Du überlegst, dich als Speaker:in für das WordCamp Germany zu bewerben.
• Du hast dich als Speaker:in beworben und hast Fragen.
• Du bist dir nicht sicher, ob öffentliches Reden etwas für dich ist.
• Du weißt nicht, worüber du sprechen sollst.
• Du bist dir nicht sicher, was ein „gutes“ Thema für einen Vortrag sein könnte.
• Du hast noch nie einen Vortrag gehalten.
• Du denkst, du brauchst mehr Erfahrung, bevor du dich als Speaker:in bewirbst.
• Du hast ein paar Fragen zum Reden auf einem WordCamp.

Wir werden deine E-Mail an niemanden weitergeben und sie nur dazu verwenden, dich an die Sprechstunden und den Call for Speakers für das WordCamp Germany 2023 zu erinnern.

We’re organizing two „office hours“ sessions for anyone who wants to learn more about applying as a speaker at WordCamp Germany, and we’d love for you to join us as well.

The dates

You can choose between two office hours sessions:

• Tuesday 25. Jul. 2023 at 19:00 (CET)
• Wednesday 2. Aug. 2023 at 10:00 (CET)

Free attendance for everyone

We’re offering these office hours because we want to encourage more new people to apply as speakers, we want to create a diverse event and help bring new voices to the stage to share their opinions, knowledge, and experience.

So these office hours are 100% free, and anyone can join.

You don’t need to have a ticket for the WordCamp to join, you don’t need to commit to applying as a speaker, you don’t need to have applied as a speaker, you don’t need to have been a speaker before, really: anyone can join.

Who is this for?

If any of the following apply to you, then the office hours are for you:

• You are thinking about applying as a speaker for WordCamp Germany but haven’t.
• You applied as a speaker and have questions.
• You’re not sure if public speaking is for you.
• You don’t know what you’d talk about.
• You’re not sure about what a „good“ topic for a talk could be.
• You’ve never been a speaker before.
• You feel you need more experience before you apply as a speaker.
• You have some questions about speaking at a WordCamp.
