Javier Guembe

Javier’s journey in the web world began in 1996, when he was a teenager. He is a passionate WordPress advocate from Spain, where he founded his agency in 2010. Together with his team, they’ve successfully launched more than 300 WordPress projects. Javier was among the early adopters of WordPress, immersing himself in it even during the B2/Cafelog days, before 2005. He likes the term ‚WP veteran‘ for that. In some WordCamps, he goes as a brand ambassador of a third-party company.

Apart from his WordPress pursuits, Javier takes pride in having authored the Spanish version of ‚Twitter for Dummies‘ in 2011. This achievement was facilitated by his popular blog on the subject, which garnered millions of visitors (powered by WordPress, naturally). He studied computing technologies, but he really likes marketing.

WordCamp Germany holds special significance for Javier, marking his 21st WordCamp participation (assistant mostly, but also volunteer, be in a team of sponsors, and speaker) and notably, his first in the English language as a speaker – a challenge he’s eagerly preparing for.

Lastly, Javier wants to show you an advance of his latest venture, WPTalkLink. Aimed at fostering connections within the WordPress community for language and learning exchanges. He’s thrilled to present it at five WordCamps this year, including WP Germany of course.
